Victor Reyes is a former Art Division Student who now teaches our printmaking classes. His artwork draws inspiration from his upbringing in Los Angeles (Compton, East LA) and the rich culture of Michoacan, Mexico where he was born. He has exhibited in galleries, universities and museums such as Craig Krull Gallery, Santa Monica; USC Fisher Museum of Art; Huntington Library; Cesar Chavez National Monument, Tehachapi, California; Museo Nacional de la Estampa, Mexico City; and the Annenberg Community Beach House, Los Angeles. In 2017 he was Artist-in-Residence at LACC USC Fisher Museum Los Angeles, CA.
Perfect for beginners, this hands-on class introduces the fundamentals of relief printing while guiding you through the full process of designing, carving, and printing your own linoleum block. You will learn how to use a printing press in our Sam Francis Print Studio. By the end of the workshop, you will leave with a finished set of prints and your carved linoleum block.
All materials will be provided.
Our cancellation policy: Please email Info@artdivision.org with your full name and order number at least 48 hours before the class to receive a 60% refund. Due to operational costs, we are not able to provide a 100% refund. Because we need time to fill vacant spots, there are no refunds with less than 48 hours notice.
