RSVP by MARCH 15, 2025 Space is Limited Since 2014, Art Division has empowered students to become arts educators through our Learn-Do-Teach Program. After completing coursework in arts education, theory, and curriculum development, students lead art classes and workshops at esteemed organizations such as Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), the LACMA education department, and Alexandria House. Some have even secured internships to teach art at local schools in Marfa, TX, through the Chinati Foundation. Our Learn-Do-Teach program exemplifies how Art Division students collaborate with professional instructors to acquire essential skills for meaningful careers in the arts, while also giving back to their communities. This year, we are excited to partner with Alexandria House, a refuge for mothers and children facing homelessness and trauma. Funds raised from our Alimento dinner will directly support student-teachers, enabling them to provide valuable art classes and programming for these families in need.
