Students visit artist Laurie Raskin's studio!

Art Division took students on a full day of exploration, beginning with a visit to artist Laurie Raskin’s home and art studio. Students viewed Raskin’s curated art collection and learned about her own artistic practice, followed by lunch. The day concluded with a guided tour at the Skirball Cultural Center of Draw Them In, Paint Them Out. Curator Vicki Phung Smith led an in-depth discussion of the works of Philip Guston and Trenton Doyle Hancock, providing students with valuable insight into the exhibition.⁠
