PresidentRudy Manning
As the Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Pastilla, a Creative & Marketing Digital Agency, Rudy has helped launch and shape some of the world's most successful products and businesses. His creative vision is blended with a strategic transmedia mindset. He helped Microsoft introduce the Surface tablet to the world with an award-winning advertising campaign that proved to the world that Microsoft was taking its focus on hardware to the next level. He also helped ESPN transition Monday Night Football from ABC with the new branding and the on-air creative. The agency has grown over the past 15 years to become one of Los Angeles’ leading branding, creative and marketing agencies, and has worked with Fortune 100 & 500 companies on global advertising campaigns, as well as public agencies, such as OCTA, City of Pasadena and City of Glendale. |
Vice PresidentPaula Holt
Paula Holt served as Commissioner of Cultural Affairs, City of Los Angeles, President of Tiffany Theatres for two decades, President of the Southern Calif. chapter of International Women’s Forum. At USC, she served on Board of Councilors for the School of Theatre, and as an adjunct professor in the department. She is currently Chair of the Board of Rogue Machine Theatre, the Board of Los Angeles Stage Alliance, and part of the Center Theatre Group Task Force on sustainability. |
TreasurerGregory Breen
A graduate of Claremont Men’s College and UCLA, and a member of the California State Bar, Gregory Breen has 40 years experience in tax and finance, both in public accounting and for private companies. He currently resides in Hermosa Beach with his wife. They have two adult sons. Greg served as an elected member of the local school board and remains active as a community volunteer. |
SecretaryMatthew Brown
Matthew Brown studied at the University of San Diego receiving a BA in International Relations and an MA from UCLA in Latin American Studies. He lived in Oaxaca, Mexico for ten years working in a Zapotec Indian village where he oversaw the production of hand woven carpets designed by international artists such as Richard Tuttle, Kiki Smith and Rosemarie Trockel. He currently lives in Los Angeles and started Matthew Brown Landscape Design working in residential, commercial and hotel design. |
Maria Galicia
Maria Galicia (She/ Her / Ella) was born in Morelos, México raised in Los Angeles (unceded Tongva territory). She is the Education and Programs Coordinator at USC Fisher Museum of Art. In 2011, she was instrumental in the creation of Art Division, a non-profit (501)(c)3 organization dedicated to training and supporting underserved youth who are committed to studying the visual arts. She worked closely with Dan McCleary, the Executive Director of the Art Division, managing the organization since the program's inception. Galicia is an alumnus of Getty Leadership Institute Next Gen, 2019. She is on the board of the Art Division. |
Salomon Huerta
Salomón Huerta is a painter based in Los Angeles, California who comes from Tijuana, Mexico and grew up in the Boyle Heights Projects in East Los Angeles. Huerta received a full scholarship to attend the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, and completed his MFA at UCLA in 1998. Huerta gained critical acclaim and commercial attention in the late 1990s for his minimalist portraits of the backs of people's heads and color saturated depictions of domestic urban architecture. He was included in the 2000 Whitney Biennial and has been featured in numerous exhibitions around the US, Europe, and Latin America such as The Gagosian Gallery in London, England and Studio La Città in Verona, Italy. |
Candace Lee
Candace Lee has been involved in arts and education throughout her career. She was the partner of Saxon-Lee Gallery who championed the works of Chicano artists in Los Angeles. As an education administrator she has managed schools, developed curriculum and implemented programs for teachers, staff and other administrators. Currently she is a board member of Fellows of Contemporary Art whose mission is to support emerging and mid-career California artists. In addition, she serves on the board of Friends of the Chinatown Library who support higher education for graduating seniors of local high schools and Evans Adult School. |
John Nava
John Nava studied art at the College of Creative Studies at UC Santa Barbara and did graduate work at the Villa Schifanoia Graduate School of Fine Art in Florence, Italy. His work is found in numerous private, corporate and public collections throughout the United States, Europe and Japan. In 2003 Nava’s tapestries for the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels won the National Interfaith Forum on Religion, Art and Architecture (IFRAA) Design Honor Award for Visual Art..Additional projects include large-scale murals, paintings and tapestries for the Tokyo Grain Exchange in Tokyo, Japan, Benaroya Hall in Seattle, the Ronald Tutor Campus Center at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, the Firestone Library at Princeton University, and the School of Music at Yale University. Further large-scale tapestry cycles include projects for Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Las Vegas, Nevada and the University of San Diego, San Diego California. In 2021 five new large-scale tapestries were unveiled depicting Our Lady of the Angels for the Sanctuary wall of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, Los Angeles, California. |
Les Traub
Les Traub holds a BS and MBA from UCLA and is Chief Financial Officer of First Credit Bank. He serves as Chairman of the Board of Musical Theatre Guild, is a board member of Friends of Greystone and is a member of the Finance Committee of Los Angeles County Neighborhood Housing Services. He is the president of the nonprofit Cabaret West and is a staff writer for Cabaret Scenes, a publication of American Songbook Association. He has previously served on the board of Centro Latino for Literacy. |
