Q: What is Art Division?
A: Art Division is a non-profit (501)(c)3 organization dedicated to training and supporting under-served youth who are committed to studying the visual arts. Art Division distinguishes itself by providing in-depth services to young adults aged 18-27.
Q: Are the classes free?
A: Yes! They are free to enrolled students aged 18 - 27
Q: How long are your classes? How many days a week?
A: Our classes are generally two hours. All classes are once a week. Our Fall semester is 10 weeks. Our Spring semester is 13 weeks and our Summer semester is about 5 weeks.
Q: I am 16-17 years old. Can I register as a new student?
A: No, you must be between 18-27 when registering as a new student
Q: I am over 27 years old. Can I still register as a student?
A: No, however we have workshops and events open to the public that you are welcome to join! Please visit our social media channels for more information.
Q: What are the requirements to apply?
A: Registration will be announced on our Instagram @artdivisionla. Potential new students must register by filling out the application on our website registration page
Q: When can I register?
A: Registration for new students opens August 4, 2025 and closes August 18, 2025. Newly enrolled students will begin classes starting in the FALL they can then continue taking classes in the SPRING.

A: Once you have registered and submitted your application, you will receive an email confirming that your application has been received along with the next steps to take.
Q: Do I need a background in art to register?
A: No, we are here for those who would like to learn and explore different art mediums.
Q: Do you have onsite parking?
A: Unfortunately we do not. Metered street parking is available, Please refer to street signs for parking restrictions.
