(Instructor: Fabián Cereijido)
Each participant will bring an art piece she/he made not too long ago (the more recent the better) Ideally everybody will bring an actual artwork, but you could also bring, or email me, digital images. Any art discipline is welcomes: Painting, videos, prints, drawings, sculptures, etc. We will explore intense ways of experiencing these art pieces: sustained observations, dialogues, comparisons, poetic responses, artistic responses, word maps, etc. From day one we will start generating brief texts that we will edit and develop during the whole course. Each session we will read and analyze a selection of excellent brief art related texts from different times and different places. In the last session each participant will present the text to the group and we will analyze and celebrate what we have learned.
