GOYA with Fabian Cereijido Ph.D.
Art Division is hosting a series of four lectures—January 7 to 28, 2021—by artist and art historian Fabián Cereijído on the work of Francisco Goya (1746 –1828), Spanish romantic painter and printmaker. Goya is considered the most important Spanish artist of his time and was an incisive and biting commentator and chronicler of his era. He is often referred to as both the last of the Old Masters and the first of the moderns. Each lecture will take place Thursday evenings from 6 to 7pm on Zoom.
This event is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Los Angeles County Department of Arts and Culture.
This event is made possible in part by a grant from the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs.
